SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY
God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1).
We at Cardigan Christian School believe the Bible to be the infallible word of God, and teach our students from a Biblical worldview.
All truth is God’s truth and all of the disciplines at Cardigan Christian School are taught in the light of this truth.
Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, is our mentor and model. Christ was sinless in nature, and was the demonstration of all God intended for man to be. His life is our guide to life in abundance. (John 10:10)
It is our aim to avoid the tendency to teach the Bible compartmentally or on the intellectual level alone.
Scripture clearly commands parents to be responsible for the education of their children.
New Life Church Cardigan maintains a Christian school to assist Christian parents in the exercise of their biblical duty. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Proverbs 22:6).
EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
We believe that the spiritual man is integrated into all aspects of learning and life.
In order for students to gain a comprehensive education, all materials must be presented with spiritual and academic truth.
Learners must be taught how to use their knowledge and skills for the glory of God. We teach that God wants to edify, comfort, and exhort His children.
Through this understanding, students will gain self-confidence enabling them to achieve all that God has purposed for their lives.
