Admissions
Attendance at Cardigan Christian School is a privilege and admittance is by application only. Acceptance, including terms and conditions, is determined by the administration. Applications are available from the school office and must be completed in detail.
The enrolment process is as follows:
1. Read the entire handbook and share appropriate sections with your children.
2. Submit a completed application, including a copy of the student’s latest basic skills test and most recent report card.
3. Following a review of the application the student will be scheduled for testing which will give an indication of the student’s working grade level.
4. Following the testing an interview with the principal will be conducted.
5. If it is determined the student is able to work successfully within Cardigan Christian School’s curriculum and expectations, the parents of the student will be notified of the student’s acceptance into Cardigan Christian School and will be asked to come to the reception office to complete the necessary financial forms for the finance office and sign a contact of agreement.
6. All new students will be placed on academic/behavioural probation for the first School term. Any student who does not conform to the standards and regulations of the school will be dismissed.
7. Students that are denied admittance to the school may submit an appeal in writing to the Trustees of New Life Church, Cardigan to be reviewed at their next scheduled meeting.
